BUTLEY PRIORY GATEHOUSE

Described by Vogue as "One of the most stunning venues in the world", this historic Grade I-listed Priory has recently been beautifully restored and is available for holidays and short breaks in Suffolk. The Gothic architecture, exquisite reception rooms with vaulted ceilings and smouldering log fires make it an unforgettable place to stay.
The Gatehouse has four bedrooms, three spacious super-king sized with free-standing baths and ample room for day beds and a cosy single, the Monk’s Cell.
BUTLEY ABBEY FARMHOUSE

Butley Abbey Farmhouse is surrounded by woods and fields. Its fine Georgian facade overlooks a large garden, tennis court and croquet lawn, with meadow and woods beyond. Behind it are its old farm buildings and the stately mediaeval Butley Priory gatehouse. It is an island of peace and privacy.
This luxury home in Suffolk features a huge farmhouse kitchen with all mod-cons, three sitting rooms with open fires, and a large dining room seating up to 24 guests. All 12 bedrooms are spacious and consist of 9 doubles and 3 twin rooms. Butley Abbey Farmhouse is offered on a self-catering basis, although we can recommend chefs for special celebrations.
BUTLEY PRIORY COTTAGE

Butley Priory Cottage is an 18th century flint cottage, formerly a stable and summerhouse, located in the Priory Gardens. It accommodates 4 + 2 guests with two double bedrooms, two bathrooms, and an open kitchen/dining room, featuring a double sofa bed in the sitting room. Bright and airy, it has a well-equipped kitchen and a small garden with outdoor seating for al fresco dining. Ideal for families, couples or friends seeking a peaceful retreat in rural Suffolk, it's dog-friendly and surrounded by nature, with coastal walks just a mile away.
PADDY’S COTTAGE

A single-storey holiday cottage in Suffolk with step-free access. This stone cottage features lovely furnishings and sunset views across the Butley Abbey Wilds. It has a ground floor bedroom with a large accessible wet room. A few steps lead to a second bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. Accommodating up to 6 guests, it includes one double bedroom, one double/twin bedroom, two bathrooms, an open-plan kitchen/dining room, and a comfy double sofa bed in the sitting room.

There are beautiful walks and cycle routes that start and finish at your door, and beaches and swim spots within ten minutes’ drive.
We can arrange yoga, cookery and art classes for you. If you’re feeling more adventurous, you can be lead into the woods for axe-throwing, archery, scavenger hunts or to learn bushcraft skills.
